Trash & Treasure Market
Details For Stall Holders

Basic Rules

Be polite to all those around you at all times. Any issues and you will be required to leave immediately and won't be permitted to come back again .
Most stalls are located between the yellow dots or lines on the car park.

Stalls are FREE!

Only sell items you are legally entitled to sell at a public market. Market staff take no responsibility for items being sold illegally. That means no
copied Cd's or DVD's, firearms, drugs, alcohol, cigarettes, etc. Anyone found to be selling these or any other illegal items will be referred to the
police. You will also be asked to leave without refund and not permitted back again.
Absolutely no stakes or steel pegs of any type are to be hit into the car park or garden area to secure tents or covers of any type. Any
types of covers used must be self supporting and safe.

No pet dogs are permitted inside of buildings or outside on this property unless they are specific for people with certified sight issues. Eg: Seeing
eye dogs only.

Power points in the building are not for use by stall holders.

We cannot supply you with money change so please make sure you bring enough change for your sales with you!

Your stall area must be left in a clean and tidy condition and any rubbish must be taken back with you at all times.

We always suggest unloading your car and then moving your car out of the area either to the lower carpark if there's room or out to
the street. Please obey town parking rules and don't obstruct people's driveways. You may need to wait in some areas before you can
set your stall up if vehicles are in the way so just be patient.

Food vans are permitted at the same stalls outside, there is no charge but you must supply your own power and bins. Please read the
conditions and abide by them as you may have a legal requirement to operate in the area.

Stall holders can setup from 6.30 am.
Drive extra slow as people will be around you!

Stall sites are in between the yellow dots.
Booking A Regular Stall?

We no longer take bookings so you can just show up on the day and take any stall between the yellow
dots!

This market will operate rain, hail or shine. Take covers with you in case it rains or provide a safe weighted down cover in case its windy. You are
responsible for the safety of your own stall. Sorry we have no control over the weather and that risk is yours. Have warm clothing, hats, sunscreen
with you and take a fold up chair if you don't want to stand all day.
Leave your pets at home as no dogs are allowed.

Why Do We Want Regular Sellers?

The reason is that this secures a regular market presence to make the market viable in the long term and provides a regular use and
entertainment value for those attending the market to visit the stalls week after week. Markets are all about taking the good with the bad
and sometimes the weather plays an important part of that factor. But none the less people like to get out and about even in the bad
weather times and have things to do in the town on weekends. Markets provide entertainment for people as well as the chance to make
some extra money or to buy some bargains. Businesses can also benefit from a good town market bringing in extra trade. If the market
doesn't get enough support it will be closed down so its all up to the people themselves if they want a regular ongoing market or not. All
we can do is provide that opportunity.
Even businesses can have stalls to sell their unwanted or excess products! Sell all the stuff you no longer want or your excess old
stock!
Markets can bring communities together and make towns more popular
which can benefit many other businesses as well.
What Can You Sell?

Anything that is legally yours and that is permitted to sell at a public market. New and used items. Furniture, toys, household items, Cd's, DVD's, plants, fruit and vegetables, clothing, tools, machinery, books, antiques and collectables, cars, caravans, boats, trailers, bikes etc.

Homemade food and takeaway food vendors require a current food handling certificate and a liability insurance. It is YOUR responsibility to abide and comply to local operating laws.
Take-away food vendors must supply their own rubbish bins and arrange emptying for their customer use.

If you operate any form of children's entertainment like jumping castle, rides etc you will be required a liability insurance cover to operate such equipment. Again  it is YOUR responsibility to abide and comply to local operating laws.

Note: Some photos may be taken at times for promotional market use on this website. Some security cameras may also be in operation at all times.  Any illegal activity will be reported to police.
Sorry no pet dogs are permitted inside of buildings or outside on this property unless they are specific for people with certified sight issues. Eg: Seeing eye dogs only. And please don't leave dogs in your car as owners may be reported.
